What are Ethos looking for?
At Ethos Group we are looking to enhance our knowledge and skills and we need your help! We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate people with a range of interests from housing and health and social care to IT, finance and HR. You may have experience with people with physical disability or Spinal Cord Injury or have worked in the NHS. We maybe a small charity based in Oswestry, Shropshire but we have a big heart and make a huge difference to our client's futures - many of clients say we helped save their life.
We believe everyone has a skill which can help our charity grow and prosper.
Are you an architect who can help us with our internal and external plans for the bungalows and the gardens? Have you been a school Governor in the past and looking for a new challenge? Have you recently retired and want to keep active and help make a difference to the local community? Are you involved in health and well-being and could help us shape the future of the support with our clients? Do you have HR and/or finance experience? IT is a vital factor in everything we do so if that's your bag then give us a call!
Are you self-employed and want to kick-start your Corporate Social Responsibility programme? Are you a member of a large firm where they give you time off to fulfill their CSR? Have you just graduated or started your first job and now is the time to enhance your CV?
What will being a Board Member mean for me?
30 HOURS PER YEAR
Each board member should be able to commit to at least 30 hours per year.
Attending bi-monthly Board meetings in Oswestry, Shropshire and additional meetings such as working groups or a committee of the Board.
An induction programme and administrative support will help you understand the work that Ethos is undertaking.
SUPPORT & TRAINING
All successful volunteers appointed to the Board will be provided with support and any necessary training and resources to enable them to fully participate.
